![]() 8/14/05 Testing the water. Maybe tomorrow we'll go for our first swim! Stay tuned... |
![]() 8/14/05 Naps are wonderful. We get such a kick out of how she sleeps. She hates covers and is obviously going to be a bed hog. Disclaimer: We did not pick out the bedding combination. |

With anxious hearts and open
arms,
We sought you everywhere.
You, dear child, are a gift from God,
The answer to our prayer.
No matter whether birth or choice,
A home is blessed from above.
When caring parents claim their child,
A family is formed of love.

![]() 8/17/05 We maxed out on carry-ons. Daddy got the job of lugging them all around. |
![]() 8/17/05 While mommy got to carry what was truly important. |
|
![]() 8/17/05 Within seconds, it was like they were old friends. She, in love with him and he, in love with her. |
![]() 8/17/05 Now we are complete. |
![]() 8/17/05 She loves to snuggle. |
![]() 8/17/05 Grandma Maine who made a bear especially for Callaway. Just the right size for a little girl. She turned on the charm for Gma Maine. |
![]() 8/17/05 No need to tell Callaway the importance of making eye contact. She brings you right into her little world. |
![]() 8/17/05 Grandpa Bob got a turn and Callaway worked her magic once more. |

![]() 9/05 Isn't she precious? |
Aunt Pam to the rescue!! Where has the time gone?? It seems like just yesterday that I found my new home . . . and here it is spring . . . and all the "purple fleuers" (flowers) are blooming!! I think mommy and I were sick for months--either one or the other--even daddy got in on the action a couple of times! I'm feeling much better now but still get attacked with just about every little bug a boo that comes to daycare :-) Mommy was really sick for months and she's better now too--something about allergies--whatever that is! All I know is that I needed that blue sucker upper thing for HER nose! Grandma Sue and Papaw George came to visit for a few days and then Aunt Sherlyn and Josh came to visit me too! We played LOTS! Then Aunt Pam and Uncle Steve came to play. And again . . . I got the ickees! Aunt Pam said she was soooo sorry that I didn't feel good, but she sure liked holding me all the time! We still played lots and lots---bubbles, ball, ring around the rosy and we had lots of group hugs. I saw her at the computer for a while and I think she was taking lots of pictures back home . . . I'll bet that's how they ended up here! :-) |
||
![]() This is my family--am I the rose? |
![]() I think mommy has something for me! |
![]() This bear is lookin' at me! |
![]() This one seems to like me better . . . |
![]() He gives hugs too . . . |
![]() I didn't want to hurt this one's feelings . . . |
![]() Could we be friends? |
![]() OK . . . group hug :-) |
![]() This part of the session is over???? |
![]() They're growing them bigger! |
![]() I'll just peek around and see if he looks friendly. |
![]() No problem here . . .even though there's no room in the chair, we're Christmas buddies! |
![]() Brian . . . have you met my bear friend? |
![]() The bear likes to kiss like this . . . |
![]() I still like YOU best :-) |
![]() Group picture . . . |
![]() Let's see how many faces I can make . . . |
![]() This one's pretty good! |
![]() Hey, you guys are smiling great! |
|
![]() Ya know what I mean??? |
![]() Are these guys handsome or what???!!! |
![]() I don't know . . . the ladies are lookin' pretty fine too if you ask me! |
|
![]() |
Sometimes I just crack myself up! |
![]() |
![]() Hmmm, I wonder if there's food involved after all this is over?? |
![]() I know mommy loves me . . . she tells me all the time . . . even when she doesn't know I'm listening! |
` ![]() She's trying to tell me to look at the camera, but I'd rather just look at her! |
![]() Sometimes I make mommy cry just by being me. |
|
![]() Does anyone else want to share my mommy and daddy?? I give them two thumbs up :-) |
![]() Hey, did you guys know that this "bug" has a hairbrush on the back? |
![]() I could help you read this book if you want . . . |
![]() This baby is lookin' at me! |
![]() Santa Claus is coming to town! |
![]() GET UP!!! It's time for presents!!!! |
![]() Is every day a holiday?? The bunnies in OUR yard are littler than you! |
![]() I Love You, Easter Bunny! |
![]() I think I've got this egg thing figured out . . . if you twist and turn it, they open up . . . |
![]() . . . and if you're a VERY lucky little girl, there are puffs and O's inside!! |
![]() A beautiful sunset that Aunt Pam and Uncle Steve saw on their way out to see me. |
![]() The Walgreens close to our house was having a sale on "chicken poop" . . . I don't know the regular price, but I'll bet they still have some left!!! |
IT'S |
![]() I have the ickees, but Aunt Pam said we could still go outside and do bubbles. |
![]() This is awesome! Sure beats blowing them out of the stick! |
![]() Do it again . . . more, Aunt Pam! |
![]() The hat had to go . . . I couldn't see my bubbles over the brim! |
![]() Are you supposed to CATCH all of them? |
![]() Whoever made this bubble blower was a genius . . . all you have to do is push this little button . . . and WALA!!!! . . . gobs of bubbles!! |
![]() This button is gettin' slippery! |
![]() WOO HOO! |
![]() I see that there is this little fan inside . . . so it must turn around and around really fast and push out all the bubbles . . . but who makes the bubbles??? |
![]() Ok, I'm going to have to stand up and try this for myself--help me out here mommy . . . I'll blow them and YOU chase them! |
![]() Dip, dip, dip! |
![]() . . . and it just keeps going, and going, and going . . :-) |
Karen just e-mailed the following
pictures to me . . . don't know if they were intended for the web page,
but here they are :-) |

![]() Daddy explained the finer points of fishing to mommy and me. |
![]() Cast 'n tug . . . cast 'n tug! |
![]() I'm a "punkin head!" |
![]() Hmmm . . . this one or that one?? |
![]() Does my face match daddy's?? |
![]() These mountains of "punkins" are fun! |
![]() 'Twas the night before Christmas . . . |
![]() You must have the "hat" to be an official baker . . . and the apron too! |
